If you are running in the Berlin marathon this weekend is about mentally preparing rather than intensive running. Long distances of pathed roads winding through forests offers a peaceful and safe place to run and focus on the challenge that lies ahead. Don’t risk injury by simply sticking to the forest roads.
Friedland Forest Trails features group activities such as 5km, 10km and 22km running and hiking tours. Runners can choose which tour to join or take off on a solo journey and discover a path on their own.
The running routes feature long distances of pathed roads winding through the green forests and lakes. The roads are perfect for road runners wanting some nature while being mindful of each footstep.
For those who like a little more grip to their sole and want to run wild, there are also trail routes taking you through rough forest terrain.
Afterwards, find your way back to the holiday camp to socialize with all of the runners while enjoying the lake, sauna, hot tub, open-air cinema, kitchen & bar.
