Join the Run Camp
Reconnect with nature and push yourself at Friedland Forest Trails, a weekend running retreat in Friedland, Brandenburg. Whether you’re preparing for a marathon or taking your first steps towards a 5k, this retreat is for runners of all levels.
This event is co-created by an alliance of Berlin run clubs, including RUN-N-RAVE, Midnight Runners, Slow Poke Runners, The Rolling Mile & Move&Meet. If you are a member of a run club, be sure to enter your code during check-out.

Run Camp
This is a camp for runners and run clubs from Berlin to meet in a relaxed lakeside summer camp. Friendly competitions will pit clubs against each other with fun runs and workouts.

Trail Runners
Plot your route and run! The Friedland forests in the countryside of Brandenburg are ideal for going wild in nature. Join a group, or take off on your own journey.

Marathon Runners
If you are preparing for the marathon you will be at the end of your training plan in September. Your body will be finely tuned and it’s time to take your final steps and focus on the mental preparation. This is the perfect place to prepare!

Slow Runners and Hikers
Beginners, recovery runners and wanderers welcome! Are you just getting into running or recently injured and trying to build back up your pace? All levels of runners are welcome. Or simply go for a hike through the beautiful woods looking for mushrooms and berries.

Camping
Festival entry includes camping. Relax in the outdoors and enjoy the Brandenburg countryside.

Cabins
A limited number of comfortable cabins are available. Details coming soon.

Sauna, Hot Tub & Lake
Relax and recover in the camp’s sauna and hot tub. Or go for a swim or paddle in the beautiful lake next door.

Entertainment
Mobile Kino will present an open air cinema and other entertainment. Enjoy movies under the night sky. The Klingemühle holiday camp is home to our Lakeside Film Festival (July).

The weekend run camp is a running and recovery getaway held at a former DDR holiday camp in the Brandenburg countryside.
Who is the run camp for?
The run camp is for anyone interested in running, marathons, outdoor activities, fitness, wellness, nature, and retreats. It is open to all levels of fitness.
What can I expect from the retreat?
Discover a supportive running community, outdoor fitness activities, trail running experiences, and a chance to immerse yourself in nature. Join one of the group runs or take off on your own.

How to Get There?
The nearest train station is Grunow (LOS), also called Grunow (Niederlausitz). You can get there from Berlin in two ways:
Best Option (via Königs Wusterhausen):
- Take the S-Bahn to Königs Wusterhausen
- Then take the RB36 towards Frankfurt Oder (schedule here)
- Get off at Grunow
Option 2 (via Frankfurt Oder):
- Get off at Grunow
- Take the RE1 from Berlin Hauptbahnhof or Ostkreuz to Frankfurt Oder
- Change to the RB36 towards Berlin/Königs Wusterhausen (schedule here)

Participation
Friedland Forest Trails is a community running retreat held in Brandenburg, Germany. The event includes camping, cabin accommodation, organized runs, wellness activities, food and beverage services, social gatherings, and activities hosted by partner running clubs and event co-hosts.
By purchasing a ticket, attending, or participating in the event, you agree to the terms below.
Assumption of Risk
Participation in running, trail running, camping, outdoor recreation, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, adverse weather conditions, physical exertion, illness, property damage, and personal injury.
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with their participation and are responsible for assessing their own fitness and ability to safely participate in any activity.
Participant Responsibilities
All participants agree to:
- Follow instructions provided by event organizers, volunteers, venue staff, and activity leaders.
- Behave responsibly and respectfully toward other participants, staff, local residents, and the natural environment.
- Comply with venue rules and applicable laws.
- Participate only in activities they feel physically capable of undertaking.
The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour creates a safety risk or negatively impacts the experience of others.
Liability
Participation in Friedland Forest Trails is voluntary and at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Friedland Forest Trails, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, venue partners, co-host running clubs, contractors, and activity leaders shall not be liable for losses, damages, injuries, or claims arising from ordinary risks associated with participation in the event.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by German law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.
Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their own belongings and equipment. Event organizers accept no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged property except where required by law.
Photography & Video
Photographs and video recordings may be taken throughout the event.
By attending Friedland Forest Trails, participants acknowledge that their image, likeness, and voice may appear in photographs, videos, livestreams, and other media captured during the event.
These materials may be used by Friedland Forest Trails and its partners for event documentation, marketing, social media, press coverage, and future event promotion without compensation.
Tickets & Cancellations
Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the organizers or required by law.
The event schedule, activities, speakers, co-hosts, and programming may be modified when necessary due to weather, operational requirements, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond the organizers’ control.
